Music and art against the backdrop of the beautiful Cumberland Mountains and Cove Lake. This all-day Festival, named after Campbell County native and renowned musician and artist Howard "Louie Bluie" Armstrong, features a wide variety of music including traditional string-band, blues, bluegrass, Americana, gospel, and mountain jazz. High quality art and crafts from the region, storytelling, youth art and children's activities, regional food and beverages, and a festival store. Carpetbag Theatre will present a portion of their new play about Howard Armstrong, "Between A Ballad And A Blues".
