Rag Rug Workshop

Arts Educator Elaine Schatzline-Behr led a Rag Rug Workshop on August 26, 2023 at Clearfork Community Institute in Eagan, TN. The 14 participants learned how to make their own rag rugs and carry on this rich Appalachian Cultural Tradition. 

The Campbell Culture Coalition provided all the supplies, charged no fees, participants kept their work, and developed the program with the Woodland Community Land Trust to create a program for the local community.
